Our client is looking for an Account Executive with the following core skill sets:

- The Account Executive will be expected to manage and grow our account base leveraging a leading Consulting, Technology and Outsourcing organization.
- Solution and staff augmentation based sales in the DC/VA market performing business development across our service offerings including: Microsoft Development and Services, IBM and Open Systems,  Project Delivery Services, Business Intelligence and Software Control Testing .
 
Responsibilities for the Account Executive include:
- Build strategies for penetration and account development
- Meet and exceed budgeted quota
- Partner with internal Leaders and Directors for solution delivery
- Execute a sales and marketing to generate new business
- Follow up on existing business to insure quality control, retention and new business development
- Seek on-going education and personal development in the information technology sector
- Active participation in professional organizations
 
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following background:
- Possess successful sales experience in the DC/VA market
- Demonstrated track record of selling, managing and identifying new opportunities, prospecting and closing business
- Strong prospecting, qualifying and closing ability
- Must be resourceful, self motivated, and well networked in the DC/VA area
- Able to communicate, develop and understand project deliverable with formal selling methodologies
- Strong oral and written communication skills
-Base 70k-80k OTE 135-150k First yr

DC/VA, we are looking for a sales rep who has sold IT services (staffing and projects) into the “civilian” side of the federal government (Dept of Health,  Dept of Education – either directly or through an integrator.  Here are some specifics:,
 
At least 3 plus years selling IT services
Local DC/VA market familiarity and based locally
Prefer experience selling through integrators such as CSC, Lockheed martin, General Dynamics, Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG etc. as opposed to selling directly to an agency but would look at both.
Ability to hunt, startup mentality, independent worker (current office includes one person, Area Sales Manager)
