IT Consulting Services-Business Development Sales
Our client is looking for an Account Executive with the following core skill sets:
- The Account Executive will be expected to manage and grow our account base leveraging a leading Consulting, Technology and Outsourcing organization.
- Solution and staff augmentation based sales in the DC/VA market performing business development across our service offerings including: Microsoft Development and Services, IBM and Open Systems, Project Delivery Services, Business Intelligence and Software Control Testing .
Responsibilities for the Account Executive include:
- Build strategies for penetration and account development
- Meet and exceed budgeted quota
- Partner with internal Leaders and Directors for solution delivery
- Execute a sales and marketing to generate new business
- Follow up on existing business to insure quality control, retention and new business development
- Seek on-going education and personal development in the information technology sector
- Active participation in professional organizations
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following background:
- Possess successful sales experience in the DC/VA market
- Demonstrated track record of selling, managing and identifying new opportunities, prospecting and closing business
- Strong prospecting, qualifying and closing ability
- Must be resourceful, self motivated, and well networked in the DC/VA area
- Able to communicate, develop and understand project deliverable with formal selling methodologies
- Strong oral and written communication skills
